Japanese Set Lunch at Small Cafe
Main Dish is stir-fried pork with ginger. It’s one of my fab Japanese dish. Very simple but tasty 😉
Black food is seaweed called Hijiki and cooked with dashi stock with soy beans, carrots etc.
Spinach is boiled then mixed with sesame and shoyu.
Most tiny dish is used for Japanese radish pickles and it’s originally used as a sake cup.
This place looked Showa-era’s retro cafe and many old plates, glasses which were carefully curated from the flea market by the cafe’s owner. Lovely young couple run this small cafe and really enjoyed chatting with them. Thanks for lovely home-made style lunch!
