Recently found Sansho(Japanese Pepper) Miso when I traveled in Shimane Pref in West Japan and tried to enjoy with rice.
Since Japanese people enjoy it with rice, new idea pop up my mind and tried to paste on the toast this morning! The sansho miso is not normal salty miso. Probably mixed with sweet wine or sugar with sansho pepper so taste are basically sweet. I really liked the combination and maybe try to use it for sandwiches too. Also must go well with cream cheese and good for simple canapé with red wine!
