Fruits in Autumn

Getting cooler day by day… Four seasons in Japan bring us colorful joys for our life. And we can find the season from the food produce in our small garden even supermarket vege/fruits section too. Persimmons is one of the popular autumn fruits and we can find various shapes. Dried one called Hoshi-Gaki (kaki) is a little chewy but really sweet. Some Japanese confectionaries put some Mochi(rice cake but soft one) in the dried persimmons. Enjoy fruits in season when you will have a chance to be in Japan.
