Hot Grape Juice with Mikan Orange

Instead of enjoying Hot Wine, I made Hot Grape Juice with local Japanese orange called Mikan!

Just heat grape juice in the pan with sliced mikan for a while. When it’s ready, add hot wine spice mix or cinnamon powder. That’s it.

Mikan is really juicy citrus fruits and it’s really good to enjoy hot mikan after drinking grape juice. Also it’s a lovely drink for kids or people who need to drive after dinner …  highly recommended. Enjoy!

Superb. Just the perfect option for a Christmas, New Year get together. I am going to try with Indian oranges or with Kinoo. Let’s see how it comes out.

  2. That sounds like an amazing version of a German mulled wine. I will try it at Christmas at my parents house. Thanks for the inspiration.
