Bought some setoka orange from Suo-Oshima Island. The peak season of the fruits was over and the farmer said it doesn’t look perfect but it tastes perfect. That’s no problem for me and ordered 5kgs ! Then enjoyed as fruits and I used for pork dish tonight.
Marinated Pork with setoka orange (cooked with sugar a little in a different pot) , mustard, shoyu, fresh rosemary and mirin for 30mins. Then cook the pork and marinated sauce in the pot until well done. After I take pork from the pot, add balsamic vinegar in the pot and make a sauce to enjoy. It’s a very refreshing sauce and really loved the dish… very enjoyable Sunday project. 😉
